We are seeking an individual to assume a project management / estimator position working primarily in the office and occasionally traveling in the field. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and energetic performer that can lead a strong team of construction professionals. Further, they must exhibit a strong client orientation, high ethical standards, and be capable of maintaining a positive attitude in the face of constantly changing priorities. A strong desire to learn will be welcomed by a friendly organization with the willingness to train the right individual in the specifics of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Laying out scope of work.
* Budgeting projects, and soliciting subcontractors as required.
* Coordinating with engineers and other trades for proper design and fabrication
of materials.
* Oversight of shop drawings from conceptual through fabrication and installation
stages.
* Coordinating job schedules with field supervisor, client, and other
trades.
* Ordering materials.
* Communicating with sales personnel and field supervisors.
Skills Required:
* Experience using Microsoft Word & Excel
* Familiarity with interpreting technical plans and blueprints.
* Experience of any kind in fabrication, installation, or design.
* Good communication skills.
* Associates or Bachelors degree
This is a full-time position based in our Northeast Philadelphia facility. Light travel may be required.
