Operator/Estimator
We are seeking individuals to assist our design staff.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and energetic performer
that can take concepts from notes and document them in technical plans/blueprints.
Further, they must exhibit strong organizational skills, professional
standards, and be capable of maintaining a positive attitude in the face
of constantly changing priorities. A strong desire to learn will be welcomed
by a friendly organization with the willingness to train the right individual
in the specifics of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Editing existing plans and drawings using AutoCAD LT 2005.
* Creating and maintaining plans and drawings from architect's renditions
and sketches.
* Assisting in writing bids and estimating costs for new projects.
* Researching new architectural products for possible use/integration
into projects.
Skills Required:
* Experience using AutoCAD products for 2-D design work.
* Familiar with Microsoft Word & Excel.
* Good communication and organization skills.
* Attention to detail and strong mathematical skills.
* Familiarity in estimating helpful, but not necessary.
* Familiarity in fabrication, installation, or design of architectural
glass or metal structures helpful, but not necessary.
This is a full-time position based in our Northeast Philadelphia facility.
